you must have coasted down some hills ;)

how many gallons of fuel did you use to do the 270 miles, have you done the math's and checked it

yeah, I don't trust the trip computer average thingy, they seem to get lasy on long trips and give figures that are too high when you do the math's

or maybe I'm just gutted :(

I must say the pd130 is a good engine and I would deffo have one if I was to do long trips in mine

as it is I don't think my FR has ever done over 200 miles on a round trip, that's why I got the petrol one

the company astra on the other hand does do mpg like that if I stick the cruise on 70 and sit there for 200 miles going to manchester from southampton :p

well before the remap if i was to go out in my car and really give it some
iv never had less the 36mpg! and thats taking it close to redline!

but they dont sound as good as a petrol :(

it took time to get that mpg but when you get there its easy
to keep it there as long as you take it easy!

but you do have OAP'S over taking you :) lol

Lowest the trip computer has shown to me is a steady 6.8mpg after flooring it up a long hill on the motorway :( same PD130 with a remap :)

Although at 90 in 6th im getting near to 60mpg :)

My petrol 1.4 sport dont get anywhere near that. I swear my car just somehow spunks 10 pounds worth of fuel in about 40 miles, although thats under high rev driving, it still seems a tad high.

Gettin tired of fuelling now, should have got a diesel.
