£1100 christ who you gone with!! im 19 and got a modded cupra and i only pay £1500!!

that was cheapest quote i got quin i think it was
my m8 pays same for his fabia vrs

then again i got a mate with a ibiza cupra r (mk3) he only pays £800

i think insurance companys make it up as they go along

anyways about the car? 1st job = Remap!

great mod just il warn you on clutch slip!

if youve been keeping an eye on the site for a while then ul know that harsh remaps cause the diesels clutches toslip so go for a smooth remap like CustomCode ;)

my nxt door neigbour has just passed his test hes got a 1.4 MGZR
insurange group 9 and he only payed £1400
hes 19

Petrol. Im with directline. 2nd cheapest I found was with tesco for £3200. Confused was throwing up quotes for 4 grand and over.

Is he fully comp? Next years quote will cost me about £1600 which is much better. Dont know why its so expensive. Probably cause they know us londoners are used to paying extornate prices.

when i bought my cupra when i was only 18 is cost me £3000 for 10months then my renewl price was a tad over 1500 :)


*octane2097* my car did have an angel tuning map and it was a way too harsh map and i belive this is what caused my turbo to go bang :(

I paid £239 for insurance this year, fully comp with protected no claims on my FR TDi, but then thats a monthly payment for some of you youngsters:whistle: :ban:

my tinted windows cost me an extra £30 on my insurance and i got asked by them if it'd increase the performance of the vehicle! CRAZY! theres another thread i started on that issue though so wont repeat it here
