Squeaking in front wheels

LEON 20VT FR
Hi,

I have a prob with my leon, a squeaking noise that seems to be coming from the front right wheel - it disappears with braking ...

its not a constant noise, its a on-off squeak that is speed-dependant. full lock right and the noise goes, plus as mentioned braking makes the noise disappear.

Brake pads were changed 20,000 km's ago and rotors were resurfaced, stock everything apart from Mintex pads (standard ones)

I took the car to the dealer and they tried to convince me that the noise is normal, which obviously didnt convince me, then an independant shop told me that its probably caused by the mintex pads + OEM rotors dot designed to work together.

The noise only appeared when warm before, now it happens all the time ...

any ideas or suggestions? I have a fresh set of mintex pads at home I can use but if its the pads at fault I can buy OEM pads
