orangy bits in side repeators!

anyone brought replacement clear or smoked ones yet?
i hate the orange bit, thought it was the bulb but took them out and realised its in the the plastic so annoying! can't find anyone that makes them for the m4do any VW ones fit?

I'd imagine the Polo, Golf and/or Fox one's fit - they look identical on the in-laws Fox

I have 'clear' ones on my mk2, which are officially for the polo, I did have to modify them slightly, but they are clear with an orange bulb.


Edit.. they are now EXACTLY the same as my Mk4 ones

unclip from the side just prise the side outwards and it clicks out

thanks for that those look great, i thought golf ones might fit as they look the same but didnt want to order some then they dont fit!

'they come with orange bulbs' shouldnt they come with chrome bulbs that flash amber?
i had smoked ones on my fiesta and the bulbs were chrome/black otherwise they will be orange showing through like the headlight/front indicators are???

I got the sam ones for my FR, they fell off a polo in my local scrapy! lol there is loads on ebay. also try www.vagparts.com
the polo gt tdi has some nice smoked one as standard too.

On the ones Ive got, there like a 'chrome Cap' that 'hides' the (orange) bulb.. so it looks all 'clear/shiny ' inside

I have some MK4 Golf ones here and they're not the same as the ones in my MK4 Ibiza!

Early MK4 Ibizas didn't have the orange cap in the repeater, I'd be hunting for some of them!
