agree with the can of worms comments ;)

mine's one of the fastest mk2's in my area if that counts, but it's far from standard now, altho it is one of only a few 20vt cupra sports :p

well to make it a bit easier, lets just say any mk2 in this section, and will no at some point who has the fastest car 0-60, and who has the fastest round a track. sounds like rob t is the quickest round the track, but i reckon one of you 20v t lads will have the 0-60, i was talking to someone on the mk3 section who has got his 20v t down to 5.1 seconds 0-60. he gave me proof with the timings as well :-o

like has been said, depends how you define fastest

- round a bendy track, mine would be hard to beat, even against a turbo mk2 - slain a great number of 'fast' cars on trackdays and sprints / hillclimbs
- if there were lots of straight bits, then others with big power may be quicker
- top speed - deffo not mine
- 0-60.....mine would be good I think even with low power (240hp) as its light and now has very big sticky tyres but may hard to beat 400/500hp turbo motor

Max's motor would toast anything on here but whether its an ibiza or not still....I dunno.

might be if it was well modified.....36's usually for me although I dont often do short course at curby, usually long course (2 laps) at around 65-66 secs last time I was there over a year ago now - back again soon though

I would like to compare ickle ibiza with pauls monster one day tho.
FIA restricted Renault turbo/mk2 ibiza/cossy/prodrive/etc vs unrestricted 1900 5v turbo
