speakers in door cards

hey, iv seen quite a few mk2s with speakers in the door cards, where are these from, how easy are they to fit? I have a p reg 1.4 se. thanks

I thought most of them had speakers??

Mine aren't standerd but I got them from www.caraudiodirect.co.uk and got a set of Alpine tyre R's 6 + 1/2 inch. Great little speakers.

The fit you have to unscrew a tiny screw in the very bottom corner of the grille it's kinda under it. the pop it off and its 4 screws to screw the speaker in.

If I can do it im sure you can.

My 1.4 doesn't have door speakers fitted, just little ones in the top of the dash...

I suspect they will fit if you were to cut the door cards but not as standard...

Odd. My 1.4 had speakers in the door cards.

depends on the model of ibiza.

The 1.4 SE doesnt have door pockets. but you can put them on easy enough, like i have tonight!

Can pick them up for about £10 a pair. Need to steal them from gti's then you can rob there black doorcards 2

Basically cut the hole out for the pocket and speaker holder to go and then your off running. So simple even SCN's resident worst person to work on an ibiza can do it! Yes that's ME!

Aye but unfortunately my 1.4 is a 5dr so the doors are shorter!

Need to find me a 5dr with the speaker pods which is more of a challenge!

The salsa has door pods.. well mine does and thats a 5 door.

ah the fun of what manuel fitted to the car that day

first 97 1.4 sxe ibiza had the 2 dashboard speakers and the door ones

my 99 1.4 cool came with 6 speakers, but i replace the door ones and the rear ones with better 6x4's

That's strange cos mine is a Salsa and doesn't have door pods! Mines a facelift one though so that could be why. Will have a look next time I'm at the scrap-yard cos there was an older Salsa there last time...

Mine salsa is a pre face lift one and had the door pods. Came with 6 speakers standard.

My GTi has the door pods?? Just fitted 1 part of 4 of some OZ Components (very tasty!)
