Dammit. :(

Shopping list as follows (highest priority first)

- Side skirts (aero - but rumoured Cupra kit may be out by the time I can afford it)
- Rear spoiler (as above)

That lot comes to over £2300 :-o so as before, any donations of cash to the Syphon Cupra fund feel free :)

Scott

Hi Scott,

Quite a list!!!!

This 'rumoured Cupra kit' you mention, when have you heard this to be available?... as I have just asked my dealer to fit the side skirts and rear spoiler from the aero kit (£558 supply, paint and fit) when mine arrives:confused:

Have you got any idea as to how long it takes from being built and at the docks to arriving at the dealers?

Dealers estimates, about 4-5 weeks from now. But it is only an estimate, it may arrive early or later depends if there are any shipping delays etc. But on average it takes around 4 weeks once a car has been called off at the factory.

No word of a Cupra kit, just dealer rumours, and our contacts within SEAT UK don't know of any such kit at the moment. Certainly nothing was mentioned in the press pack details we got from SEAT when we tested the Cupra last month.

I'll find out more as the year progresses, as I'll get to see some of them at this years touring car rounds for a more candid chat about new stuff!!

I'm sure I was told the boat takes something like two weeks.

It's a long process loading and unloading as well.

My dealer has said it should arrive mid to late april, depending on how long it takes to get it to the port etc.

Scott

No Scott, it takes them no time at all to unload the boats here in Hartlepool. You should see them! :-o

Only joking.

It's interesting to see a lot of transporters coming off the docks with very mixed VAG loads, every marque.

There's a kit that says compatible with the FR - that's the one you want.

Scott

Seeing as these are available to fit the FR's and Cupra's I can't see why they can't be fitted at the factory???

How high are they fitted within the bumper, if they were quite low then the black trim in the middle would hide at least two of the sensors I would of thought.

Dealer said they could fit it how I wanted. Either across the black or above.
