Changing battery on remote

Hey chaps,

I've done a bunch of searches on changing the battery on the remote fob, and tried to follow a link for a guide, but it's a dead link.

I'm aware it's either a 1 or 2 battery setup and to be careful of losing the internals. As per instructions from users on here, there's a small slot to stick a screw driver in to prize it open. I can see no such point on my key, am I just being thick??

The key works fine and remote locks fine. It just doesn't unlock, so wanted to check the battery first before forking out 100 smackers for a new one!

Look at the key, buttons facing you, around the edge you will see a line that indicates where the key is in 2 parts.

Turn the key over, following that line, right in the middle of the key is where the slot is.

Bit of brute force and ignorance will seperate it.

You won't have to re-code it at all.

Woo! Did that, it was a snap, thanks! The key is now in 2 parts. But these 2 parts seem pretty sealed up and not a compartment in sight! :(

The battery is in the bottom button section. Just pop it open. The line in the middle indicates the two parts. Carefully prise it open.:)
