Hi Guys,

I've had my Ovni Yellow Ibiza FR 130 PD for a year now and I love it to bits, gives me great MPG & a nice bit of poke too.

For the past few months I've been considering a Revo Remap for the car and seeing as it's taking me ages to save up the money to get it I'd like to know how other Ibiza FR 130 PD or Fabia vRS owners have found it...

Was it worth the money?
Had any issues with it?
Can you actually get the extra power down?

More importantly...

What other cars have you managed to keep up with or even better wave 'bye bye' to?

Thanks in advance for any advice/help.

I went for Custom code which was £425+ VAT i think...?

Was it worth the money? Yeah deffo but their are cheaper alternatives

Had any issues with it? Bit of Clutch slip, but altered my driving style and learnt not to boot it under 2k revs

Also heat soak when the weather got a bit warmer, but bought a FOrge FMIC instead, loads better.

Can you actually get the extra power down? Yes, fair enough it span up in 3rd with ease, but if i used my brain i could get power down easily enough, even managed a 2.19sec 60ft on a 1/4mile!!!

best 1/4 mile was 14.89 without my FMIC, i reckon a 14.6ish could be had on a good day.

A couple of my mates a some quick hot hatches, i could keep up with both a Focus RS and a Civic Type R in straight lines, also i had a play with a 330 BMW and a scooby WRX[ [240bhp] neither could overtake!!

Tried it on with a clio 182 which was easy on the straights but round roundabouts, he was far quicker..

So i invested in some 312mm Audi TT brakes which are highly recommended and also some FK coilovers so she would handle better.

the remap will only scrap warrenty for the engine components i should think...

But you can turn some remaps on/off so the dealer wouldn't know when you took the car in, should it happen?

Go with which ever company you feel will do a good job , first stage chip tuning is all a much of a much affair and most company's are on par power wise , but there are some who are not with corrupted file etc.

P.S just use a reputable firm / company like Revo,Jabba, supperchip etc.

It might be worth considering fitting the 312mm brakes if getting a remap.
