Im wanting to get a Cupra but the insurance might make me get an Fr.

I love my ibiza and all its faults, like the new headunit not storing stations, the PAS light coming on, THe airbag light being stuck on, o and the boot not letting me in with a key. As u can tell I have a list of things to fix most getting done this week :D

and davels wee acident was him hitting a dear and flipping the car if u seen the pics u would think he is the luckiest person alive so all credit to the ibiza's.

Diesels have huge rattle issues!!

Mine nearly drove me insane - seemed intent on rattling itself to pieces - the dash didn't seem to be able to cope with the stiff suspension or the rattly diesel :(

Is that why you sold your Ibiza?

Warwickshire once.
I haven't had problems with rattles from the dash, they must have done mine on a Monday:lol:

However:-

Crashy suspension - you will be slowing down for speed bumps.
Calliper paint colour fades - on Cupras there supposed to be red not pink.
Rear Disks - If you buy new watch them as they will need replacing under warranty very quickly around 8K to 20K.
and finally condensation in the lights (how could I forget that)

:D

time for a MINI adventure
I love my FR too but it does annoy me sometimes

The suspension is firm and crashy yet doesn't handle too good round corners
Headlight washer sticks up doesn't always go back into its recess
Windscreen Wipers are pants, they smear badly and stagger across the screen even in pouring rain
Can't hear doors lock/unlock sometimes and don't always notice the flash
Replacing bulbs is a nightmare (which i've just found out)

However, the car drives well, looks well smart, it's rapid and is spacious and comfortable

Not too far away

That happened on my leon and ibiza but I fixed it by twisting the wiper arms slightly so that the blade make a shallower angle to the screen on the upstroke. Completely removes the judder, noise and smearyness assuming you have non knackered blades on there..

Just a shame the rest of the car need sticking together with no more nails and other such building products to stop the rattles and road noise :D
