What sort of price do you reckon my Leon Cupra is worth? I don't have a clue how much to advertise it for as its low mileage etc etc. Its a blue 2002 Leon Cupra. Ive got 18 inch ASA wheels on there at the moment but will probably put the standard ones back on. Its got full Seat Service history, 1 previous owner who was an old bloke, and only has 30,000 miles. 1 garage offered me £7400 part ex and 2 other garages said they couldnt find a book price for it for some reason.

Does anyone have any ideas on what price I should advertise it for and where would be the best places to advertise? I.E. Ebay, autotrader, local paper? I usually just part ex my old cars but feel I could get a load more money selling this private as it is such a good car, hence knowing nothing about selling cars on!! Any help is much appreciated

Many thanks
Paul

I'd definitely put it back to standard and sell the 18" wheels separately. That way you don't alienate people who don't want a modified car so you open your potential customer base up, which is always a good thing.

For an idea of price, have a look on Autotrader and see what price other similar cars with similar mileage are selling for and work it out from there.

I think £800 is 8 months isn't too bad.... you'll be sure that most car's loose more than £100/mo

But that was part ex and the car sold earlier today. They dont have another one on the forecourt i like. Its always the way isnt it, when your car is up for sale, you find loads of cars you want but cant buy them until you sell yours, and then when you sell yours, none come up that you want!

id put it back to standard , and sell all the bits on , it looks a bit chavved up , no offence , that may put a lot of people of it , and u should be able to sell the bits for a good wack , providing u still have all the standard bits that is .

Good luck to you mate. Hope it sells for what you want. But just remember that if it doesn't, you still have the parts you removed that you could sell to make up the difference.
