hey seatlings... i cleaned the MAF today with isopropynol alcohol.. and its worked... my car now revs over 3000rpm... tho its not any faster...

Resets the adaptation in the ECU - the ECU has "learnt" how to deal with your mucky MAF, it needs to re-learn how to deal with the clean MAF. It will do this over time, but disconnecting the battery speeds the process up.

To recalibrate the throttle body and reset the ecu.
when staring the engine after you reconnected the battery, wait 30 -60 seconds before staring as this time allows the trottle body to align. should be able to hear it aliging.

Yeh turn on the ignition but dont start it, wait , when the sound stops fromthe trottle body , start the engine.

Try cleaning the trottle body as well! prevent it from sticking! Cleaned mines once, alot glunk cam out but looks like new now :D
