Since having the chip done, the car cannotr now handle its 233BHP very well.

Can someone please tell me what spacers people are firtingl. I see prices of £256 being banded about but I have got a quote of £65 from Eibach for their centre hub spacers (Safest way really).

So are people simply getting universal spacers with longer bolts or what or where are people getting these from?

Speak to Bill (Badger 5) on here. Most people get them off him. I got H&R hub centric ones for about £115 with longer bolts and locking wheel nuts (i think).

They come in 15 or 20mm. Generally get the 15mm ones if your car is lowered or will be to avoid rubbing.

So, if I get the Eibach spacers (these are the ones I was looking at) I still need to get wheel bolts?

53bhp from a remap & panel ? RR'd ?

It was actually 51 BHP, I already had the dv and the filter and the pre-map run gave 182BHP. They did say it was a very good example, (in the voice from The Fast Show) "which was nice"!.

I was originally thining about 260 would do me but I honestly (right now) can't find a reason to go any further. Scoobies and Evo's can't shake me till we get over the tonne but, in addition, the car is still so very driveable.

Apart from the handling now! Hence wheel spacers. I did the same on my Uno and my Series 1 and it transforms the car in fast corners.

Surely your the bolts will have 20mm less thread attached to the Hub?
Thus its advisable to get bolts that are 20mm longer, to keep suficient thread in place??

This kit contains 2 spacers PLUS the fitting kit -10 bolts to bolt the spacer onto your hub and then you use your existing bolts to bolt your wheel on - thus avoiding the need to purchase longer wheel bolts.

thats from the article :S are these any good as I may buy some lol

It doesn't list the Ibiza on the auction page but the Mk4 Ibiza is 5x100 PCD so you shouldn't have any problems. Same as the Leon which is listed ;)
