Some updates on my car.

Got re-mapped to 138-ish bhp by Rsr motorsports.

Also got a video of the dyno run, but I have to compress it.

Fitted a strut-bar and a boostgauge. You can se the piping for the gauge on the picture. I'll post some pics of the gauge in action later, when it's dark ;)

Also fitted a Solisto mp3 player, that connects any USB key to the stadard headunit.

Cupra brakes, with Brembo blanks and Ferodo racing DS2500 pads all-round.

I also have the Bosch aero-twins on the front

I'm getting a new set of tyres and 16mm rear spacers on Thursday. Can't wait!

The plans are also to tint the windows, get a decent set of coilies and 16inch OZ superT's

There are 2 different versions of brakes on the Mk3 110 sport. The 256mm ones and the 280mm ones (same as Cupra). I got the bigger ones.

The combination of Ferodo racing DS2500 and Brembo blanks is really awesome. It's simply miles better than the standard setup.

Looking good, I also like the idea of the MP3 player - I have a similar system though I use a Phatbox, connects to the OEM headunit.

Fantastic choice of colour too, and the TDI 110 is a spot on engine, I loved it in the Toledo.

There are 2 types of DS2500 - the "stradale" and "race only". Being a nutcase, I bought the "race only" version, haha :)

You have to keep in mind, that these brake best when hot. When they're cold, they're just like OEM brakes. But when they're hot, they're fantastic :)

two words: cupra bumper [and bumpstrip tinting,,,] I did it on mine and it looks miles better,,,

I like your car,,, never saw a yellow tdi sport til now,,, kinda cool I have to add,,, plus I know very few guys on here with the 110 mk3 so I am very pleased to see a nice example,,,

I like your car very much and I am very interested to do an mp3 player conversion,,, I now use my mp3 player connected with one of those tape adapters :thumbd:,,, I had a few ideas on how to do that but yours seems way more clever and pro,,,

can I have a link or some more info please?

I've been searching for something like that for ages!!! [the dension was too costy and complicated] NOW I NEED IT!!

[goes off to ebay.de to search for a bargain,,,]

btw, on mine I have the voltage meter and the oil temp gauge in front of the gearstick, it's stock stuff that came with the car,,, I know not all sport's have that but I thought all 3 doors had that,,,

You can buy those off a cupra cos they're the same,,,

It's well worth the money. I ordered it directly from Germany, paid 210€ and had it delivered the next week. It took me 5 minutes to install it :)

As for the gauges, I'm looking for a decent EGT gauge and an oil temperature gauge to fit in the cupra R console. My Ibiza was without the gauges :( It seems that for Slovenian market only petrol models had those fitted.

Been quoted 800€ for that   A bit too much, I think.

I'll go with an up-rated suspension and 16" rims first. And I really like the MS-design front spoiler, so It's going to be a tough decision :)

Are you kidding right???

You can get a used cupra bumper for less than 100€ [some are on sale in the for sale section in here] or there some selling non-orignal stuff [but looks exactly the same - can't tell about quality tho] on the german ebay for 119€ + shipping,,, bear in mind you'll need the grilles, the foglights + housings, the black plastic part inside the wheel arches,,,

or just get yourself a small accident involving the front bumper,,,
[kidding obviously,,,]

and where did you get the boost gauge + pod please?

Boostgauge: http://www.veisystems.com (imported from the US)
Here's a promotional video of it in action on someone else'e car: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TAqfXh3fwZ8 It doesn't do any vacuum on a Tdi and you can set the LED's at .6, 1.2, 1.8, 2.4, 3.0, 3.6 or 4.2 bar max, so it's very customisable, unlike the analogue ones.

Pod: FK automotive (but be aware that it was designed for a RHD Ibiza and only "mirrored" for LHD, so it doesn't fit 100% and you have to trim it) :censored:
