What to check on Ko3s

can anyone tell me what checks i should do on the ko3s to make sure its a good one, any advice would be hugely appriciated.

check for any play in the shaft.

lateral or horizontal play

take off the tip and feel the end of the shaft it will move very slighty up and donw left and right but excessive play will mean its buggered. any physical damage obviously cracks as mentioned actuator arm not bent, check that the actuator moves inwards and outwards etc....

lol i checked that lol so if it moves slightly on the shaft but not freely, thats ok?

yeh most turbos will move slightly, if there are any places that service or tune turbos they will be able to check it for you, i have turbo active near me which im going to give them mine to check and test first before i put it on saves finding out its knackered after its fitted and you need to remove it again.
