Ok so ive just searched but couldnt find anything, im having some boost issues at the moment and wanted to unplug my maf to see if it would run anybetter, I understand that the maf connects to the airbox and the other end joins the TIP and the N75 sits in the maf? but if im looking to unplug the maf to see if it runs better where is the sensor i unplug? or do just disconnect it from the airbox housing? Or have i got it totally wrong lol.

Maf is a round peice that sits between the tip and the airfilter, simply unplug that.

The N75 is near the MAF, but is closer the to charge pipe.

Im assuming that your talking about the round bit that is attached to the airbox using 2 philips screws? Sorry to sound dumb never had to do this before! :)

If so just unscrew and pull out of the airbox?

Ours are a little different, but this should help you locate it.

Not that i recall mate, it'll have a big stupid fecking spring clip holding it in place. To remove this i used the handles of a set of pliers. (Watch out they do spring back with some force.

To replace it i used two jubilee clips connected together.

Just pull the plug out thats connected before your induction kit. Your traction control light will be on constantly when you unplug it but it should go back to normal when you plug it back in again.

Yup all done all, looking at the engine for a while i kind of aussmed that the pic you showed was the N75, O well un plugged and made no differance still not getting full boost in 1st and 2nd, only seeing 14/16psi in these gears, i think i might try replacing he N75 as a cheap fix then see if i can find somebody with vag come after :(

I never see more than 14psi in first coz i'm wheelspinning most of the time.

Only see 20psi in second if i put it under load.

I can see 20psi in 2nd but only when planting it from low revs 20mph etc.... but say i was to hold it at say 40mph and plant it, it would only boost to 15/16psi somtimes upto 17/18psi, this could be normal im not sure?

At a guess thats because your ickle k03 has been running out of puff sitting at 40mph for however long. As long as the car is boosting properly in 3rd 4th 5th you should be fine.

Id say its been hitting 19/20psi in 3rd 4th and 5th after each gear change. But if i change out 1st to 2nd at 5k rpm it will only boost to 15/16psi also again if i change from 2nd to 3rd at 5krpm i will see 17/18psi and so on. I get full boost without fail in 5th everytime!
