Different wastegate actuators?? The actuator is part of the turbo and its the same K04/023 turbo so where's this info come from?

I never knew the 225 gearknob was any different to the 210 either?

Im sure there are 2 different variations of the 225 steering wheel. I have red perforations on my hand grips, ive seen another 225 wheel that didn't have these

That info along with the wheel bearing info was originally on Seat.co.uk web site when the 225 was launched.

There was quite a fuss about 'why' they had changed the items........

Dunno - Steve said the actuators were different You'd think the tubby would be a different part number if the actuator was different.

I know what you mean about the 225 wheel differences - I've seen some that seem to have the perfs, others that don't. Dunno if it's wear

Gear knobs are different, only slightly - just more perfs on the 225 one.

Ignore the middle R badge, but the red perforations on the hand grips.

"The VVT has a different actuator on the 210 to the 225 1.8T's. Ones mechanical and the others hydraulic"

Was Luna Grey ever an option? Can someone with a 225 confirm I'm right about the retractable parcel shelf strings? And does anyone know about the VVT Actuation?

I REALLY ought to be doing something else

My 225 (reg. Mar 04) does not have retractable parcel shelf strings.

Also, it has a tape deck and 6xCD changer in glovebox.

Hey guys, I can also confirm my 225 steering wheel has those red perforations.

But....I am off down to complain to SEAT, my car didn't come with those front pillar boost guages that yours came with Mitchy!!

Mitchy's car came with NOS too so ask about that

Ahh, that explains that then. I bet they changed from one to the other because of cost. Dunno which has which though?

Yes they are, I had them from SEAT Windsor and they came on a SEAT hanger from the dealers at £49.95

And I'm in the camp that the 225's didn't have any more power than the 210.

My first 225 was slower than most of the 210's on the RR day at Stealth!

Also the last of the last 225s came with SmartNav (first was Tracker, second was motorsport pack)
