Mapping your model so that it pulls strongly throughout the rev range is no problem.

Clutch slip is easily avoided, by bringing the power in correctly, and as some have already mentioned, by mapping the torque limiters correctly.

Torque limiters are adjusted according to engine load, so a good tuner will simply adjust torque limiters to suit :)

I could'nt recommend REVO enough, the switchability is the strong point, and it gives you the extra grunt, but not TOOO much, as remember you need to think about clutch.

Every company will tune according to their skill, knowledge but mainly what they consider the best results.

Good power can be acheived without clutch slip....i.e) the power doesn't need to come in stupidly strong low down, as thats when the transmission in heavily loaded.

Due to differences in clutches and there is nobody who can say that clutch slip is down to the map, as even standard cars can have clutch slip.

there worried about the clutch as its a 600 quid bill

That is my only worry when im thinking about the re-map. Clutch slip. Dont want to pay £500 for map and then £600 for clutch. That means an £1100 remap

I'll let you know later tomorrow after I get back from a Custom Remap at Jabba, booked for 9am.

I am so bloody excited, it's like christmas, I won't be able to sleep tonight.

Ive had 2 Custom Code Remaps now and they were both fantastic, afterwards it delivered power all the way to 5k!

As opposed to Revo though, all you need is Vag Com and a cable to switch it on/off - you dont have to purchase a lucicrously expensive SPS1. Vag com is cheaper and has many many other uses!

Hi There

We're in Wombourne, Wolverhampton.

175bhp and an increase of +80NM of torque

Re-map is £275 all in. Fully guaranteed ;)

Thanks very much. Im very interested. Very very interested!!
The car might have the PD160 intake and green filter on already, will this matter?

I've spoken and read posts from my P-Torque above and Bell Autos. Both sound like they know what they are doing a bit more than most. I want my superchip map changing so I can have more top end. I will get it checked on an independent rolling road first mind.

I see lots of people getting over 180bhp, is this possible from your conversion Will?
