There were some chaps that had their Leon FR tdi's REMapped but had to return to std.
Believe one was Superchips and the other was in Scotland.
What progress/outcome with these remaps, cos most tuners are having problems with this DPF system

I don't think they've got round keeping the DPF and mapping it

it clogs up & burns IIRC?

We're doing some testing on our 170 Passat at the moment, she'll be doing another 500miles today.
I've heard of a fair amount of standard cars having issues if they're only being used for short journeys, dealers are recommending doing longer runs at 60mph + to burn off and clear the filter.

This is what I have heard from other tuners too - what we the user need to know is how many short trips can we make before limp home mode comes on!! Your latter comment is interesting - can you really burn off soot, because there are sensors that records build up/back pressure etc. which implies that you cannot burn off.

No I don't think you can, although this is what 'dealers' are saying. I've heard of (but not seen) a fair amount of standard cars having problems with the CEL/limp, we've not had a problem with our car in either stock or performance mode... yet!
