Well, the 2007 BTCC is nearly here, and just a reminder that if anyone is considering accomodation for the weekend, then dont forget Camping at the Circuit.

We have done it for 2 Seasons now, and its always been a laugh, if sometimes a little on chilly side.

Whats on offer:

Relaxing day Saturday

On site washing facilities -No Showers

A sing Song round the camp fire ( Westlife Rocks )

Plenty of Alcohol

Bar B Q

Port, Cheese and Cheeky Vimto's

So far, the attendees that are camping:

Empi5
Lordstorm ( anyone remember him )
Martycr
Lee Merrin
Hairy ( Aaron you mentioned that you were )

And an honourary appearance from the Dyson King ?:

Cupracar.

If anyone else is thinking about it, just do it, Headache on the Sunday a possibility, and a warm welcome guaranteed .... ( if the fire stays a light )

We are also stopping the Sunday night as well, so twice the fun.

Oh Yes!

I will be there. We have to do a trial run on all the Le Mans gizmo's that we have bought.

I havnt finally settled on a Genny yet, but probably will do very soon. The chest freezer that I picked up off freecycle was a dud, so am still looking for a replacement.

My latest purchase is going to be an Outdoor Paella gas cooker thingy, so I will do some experimental Spanish cooking on it. You can also do a pretty big fry up on the 18inch Dia Pan.

I will bring Gazebo/Gazebo's space heaters bbq's etc, and the Genny if I have it by then. I suppse we should look at some electric Gazebo lighting.

Looking forward to the start of the 2007 drinking sessions

I'll be there again :D

but I'm having a bit of a problem with ordering the tickets, I'm sure the last few times I paid for the camping at the time of ordering the ticket but I'm not getting the option this time.

Any idea if this means...

a) Camping is no longer available (possibly to fire hazards  )
b) Camping is now paid for on arrival
c) I'm being ignorant during the on line ordering

Phil and Mart'

Are you 2 for real!!!

Generators,frezers, shower, WTF!!!

Rember when it was a one ring propane cooker, 15 cases of Stella, numerous bottles of iffy spirts, slab of cheese, de-foresting the area to keep the fire going, kicking footballs into the faces of little kids, wondering why you fell over the same tent peg 15 times, slagging all non-Seat supporters, finding a Vauxhall to have a piss on and to top it all 50 renditions of "YOU LIFT ME UP" :funk: Oh, and I forgot about losing the car keys. Aaaargh, good times.

You tarts :gay: your going soft::bleh:

All of the above are really for Le Mans Keith. We havn't turned into full blown jessies just yet :harhar:

We are going to have to try all the bits out at the BTCC meets

Phil. I have been keeping an eye on flea Bay for the Genny. I have established that I am going to need something like 5.5HP motor chucking out 2.5kw/3.1kva to be able to run a freezer comfortably. Am just waiting for a good used one to come up and localish.

The freezer that I had was one of them slim ones ie. W36cm, D60cm, H85cm. Im not intending to spend any money on one though.

Excellent.. I'm organising a group of friends (90% have been on SCN at one point or another) to go and I'll end up with a revolt on my hands if they get pneumonia!
