Poxy Stereo!!!

My stereo is giving me the right hump!!

Its only a samll one, but i seem to have a hypersensitive volume nob.....

If i turn it it goes silent all the time, i have to literally be mega gentle and turn it 1 notch at a time, otherwise it just goes silent!!

Any ideas??

If you have the auto adjust for speed turned on, then try turning that off, seemed to work for me.

Cant remember exactly the buttons to press but its quite straight forward.

Mine also, if you turn too fast just drops the volume back to 00 which is real sucky if your on a bumpy road

mine did the same thing, when i turned it up it would go to 0 was really annoying as my cars seriuosly low so every bump i hit whilst trying to change the volume would result in it going to 0.
i fixed it by fitting my alpine hu under the steering wheel.

Mine is weird as well, even tho when i turn it clockwise, i.e increase volume, it decreases. It is sensitive as hell tho.

Yeah mine does the same!

I have stopped trying to work out why these things happen and just learn to deal with it! You'll go mad otherwise!

The cars must all be women as they are SO over sensitive

No Cure for this ? its REALLY annoying, i tried taking the knob off and messing around with it, but it still does it :-/

I think its probably just one of those things and you just have to turn it up slower than you would normally?
