sometimes they do ;)

how many miles did you do on a failed maf? did you not notice the difference in driving the car? should be a big difference if its running lean

that's tosh.... lambda probe will have spotted an issue of the MAF was well on it's way out

more likely a fuelling issue (like one stopped working) than what you've suggested

it doesnt matter!!! stop making this so difficult chris! LMAO

determining which n75 holds no relevance to the amount of boost you are running, the people who run J valves do so cos they think it improves performance, not cos the have to!

im not running standard power either, infact im far from it! but i still use the original nt75...do u want to know why?

COS IT DOESNT **** THINGS UP

christ there are people with IHI turbos that use original N75 valves!

LOL s'ok dude :D

my advice is if you dont want to run the risk of trouble, get the standard valve because 50% (maybe more) of people that use the J variant have problems

No what happend was, i had just bypassed the N249 valve and went down a bypass to see if it was any faster! when i got onto the bypass the car was running fine until it lost boost in 5th, the boost came back asoon as i went on and off the throttle. The car felt abit sluggish and they started to missfire then the engine light came on! i thought "*******" another coil pack! so i drove to work and put it on the vas 5051, the faults showed a missfire in cylinder 1 and a air mass meter fault! i change the coil pack and the car was no better! in facted worse it started to smoke! colour blue! ****! i took the spark plug out in cylinder 1 and it had melted the end! the maf sensor had put to much fuel in and not enough air which melted the piston! it didnt over boost! if there was a fault with the fuel, like a faulty injector it would of shown on the 5051! i have spoken to an audi master tech and told him what happend he then asked did it have a maf fault i said yes! he then told me that he had this fault before on a couple of TT's and they had melted a coil pack!
