IPOD Kit IMHO not great

Am i the only one to have my Ipod here? It was in when i had the car from new, i thought it would be under the seat but no . Either way its a Dension link and i'm glad of its position so i'm able to plug in easy then hide in the recess at the back. Its also got full playlist options from the 1-6 on the stereo

Any chance you can show a pic of the actual hole, you carefully disguised it there with the iPod lol

As soon as someone bothers to make a fascia adapter for the new leon im ripping the old unit out and replacing it with this beauty

All other ipod full speed head units have a single wire from ipod to the head unit so theres no need for an adapter box. Therefore the wire can be routed anywhere you want it, i.e glove box etc, so I gues its the same idea but with a usb cable for even faster control of the ipod, the good thing about this unit is they havnt botherd putting a cd player in it, therefore keeping the price down and why would you need a cd player with an ipod anyway.

That looks really neat, like how it has its own display. But it would be better if it had a cleaner interface overall.

Underneath from where? I see one end of the cable plugged into you iPod, I'm just curious where the other end goes. As in you pic it disappears behind you iPod.

It goes under the cup holder, i guess it then goes back to the stereo

So there is a hole in the bottom of the cup holder for the wire? Don't suppose you know if these cables are long enough to reach all the way underneath and up to a armrest?

Just had an email from the only supplier I could find that does fascia adapters for new leon, they are only left han drive though he said:

Hi

The supplier Connects2 are currently trying to source a right hand drive version of this fascia adaptor. We are currently unaware of any other product on the market for the newer Leon.
