i know theres a trick you can do on leons, see how to guides on the front page(tolly may be the same) where you can pull up loads of different sensor readings on the display (intake temp, speed etc etc) but i dont think it can be done on the ibiza.

Yep, you can get loads of information from the Climate display on a MK2 Toledo..

It can be useful for looking at speed, outside temp, inside temp, A/C temp, etc..

Have a look at http://www.audiworld.com/tech/int6.shtml

It explains all..

I think code 17 is road speed, although mine only displays in Kph..

Enjoy

Is that just on the Tolly then? I've never heard of the Ibiza's system being able to do that... ?

Both Tolly's and Leon's can do it..

Not sure about the latest 2005 models though.

I guess the climate systems needs all the various inputs listed in order to work.
Maybe the fan speed is linked to road speed, hence the reason the climate needs to be aware of your speed ?

So, given that the data is all there, someone must of built in a 'Back door' to the climate module to enable the data to be displayed..

Works a treat..

Loads of rip off merchants trying to sell this info on Ebay !!

Doesnt work on the Mk4 Ibiza sorry mate.

If you push all the buttons you can get loads of readings but none relate to speed or RPM, or anything remotely important.
