Condensation in front lights

My leon had the condensation in the lights too when i picked it up just drilled a couple of 2mm holes in the covers on the back like i did on the ibiza and they cleared by the following day


Have you any pics of this remedy Simon? I know 2mm is pretty small but would be interested see it and to know whether anyone else has done this DIY mod??

Havnt got any pics at the moment will try and get some tomorrow for you

I know we shouldnt need to do stuff like this woody but it worked on my ibiza and has done on this one too just seemed easier too me than messing about getting lights changed that will probably still do it

Alternatively you cou try just removing the above covers until the condensation clears a couple of days in this weather then put them back on though i found on the ibiza as soon as i washed it they steamed up again

i have sent the letter off today so i will wait and see what happens. If nothing i will give the DIY ago
