The Neuspeed metal pipe was a modest improvement over the original design. (They still use the OEM upper rubber piping)

Forge type 'complete' Tips are a vast improvement.

I don't think anyone would sensibly bother using the Neuspeed one these days

definately go for the forge one if you getting one!!!! 100% better than the original and looks a whole world better than the neuspeed/original piping!!

acid.....can you explain on this one mate?? from my experience with turbos, the only "outlet" is the downpipe/exhaust manifold??

ok in theory yes, in one end out the other

basically im referring to the part of the turbo which connects to the intercooler pipework

be careful with the apr one, they list the ibiza and leon together, from what I remember that one needs slightly modding to fit the ibiza etc. forge customer support is excellent and will give you a 10% discount if you mention cupranet.

the turbo has two apertures, one sucks the air in, the other blows it out. tip goes on the intake side and that goes on the other. the exhausted air that spins the turbo stays in one side and heads out to exhaust manifold as it turns the turbine, it never mixes with the cooler charge air.

i know how they work.......unfortunately with past experiences on previous cars ive changed a few turbos, just couldnt picture the layout of the smaller hose.:p
