driving this morning and with no reason the TCS light and ABS light come on and the fuel noise beeps 3 times, then all goes back to normal?

any one got any ideas?

also got a RR done on the car, running cat back cone filter and FMIC and only got 135bhp?

whats that about, car is fast as hell on the road and has no faults up or recorded.

not impressed!

the other car there got prety much exactly what was estimated.

plus a honda a week earlier which was new pulled book figure.

na was a saxo!

need to get some logging done some time then. need to make a few calls.

a good test will be when i have the k03s and all the other mods to go with.

expecting between 230- 250 so will see what it comes up as.

yeah i didnt think it would be another turbo, same old situation mate, u cannot compare what looks right for one car to be right for a totally different car

its alot more complex getting a true value on a RR from a turbo engine

likelyhood is the figure is wrong but never the less there could be a boost leak or something like that. but you said its fast and if it had a leak it certainly wouldn't be fast. plus fmic and catback dont necessarily boost power output and new air filters dont do much so i wouldnt worry

we discussed what we thort was up and the cobination of air filter (less power) cat back (less power) FMIC (long spool up and too small turbo) has caused the lack of power. its all going towarss the K03s transplant and a re map to sort it.

just need some money now.

what FMIC do you have laguna?

yeah i went laguna as it was deal of the week for me.

my 2 biggest problems is 1) money for full blueflame system and 2) what remap to go with.

all the rest is simple easy stuff, even have a 4bar FPR sitting waiting for me.

just need that final 1000 quid for every thing.

F.Y.I Storm Developments measure @ the wheels not the Fly. They use the wheels figure to work out the Fly.

Mine was given at the wheels when I went there, U probably have about 155-165bhp which sounds about right if you dont have a map

Plus sounds like your MAF's come to the end of its life as when my MAF died i git the sane warning as you withthe abs and tcs light

MAF seems fine at the mo but have noticed the car is a bit jurkey when cold and isnt fuleing properly when lifting off.

my abs and tcs like is on now. if i diconnect the battery theu go for about 2 miles then pop back up, i thought it could have been the abs sensor which i know is knackered and have a new one to fit.
if i unplug the maff, disconnect the battery and then run it and see if the likes dont come on, is it defo the maff?

sounds like it then. to be honset from what i know the lights on the dash have no corispondance to actual problems. best bet is a vagcom session.
