Why not just get the floppy blade upgrade and save yourself a wad of cash?

Cuz they don't look as good, universal blades of any type have cheap clips that don't fit the arms properly, I always have genuine manufacture blades so they fit as intended and dont wobble/judder etc. or have clips that stick out where they shouldn't

Horses for courses but the ones I saw looked o.k but still not upto what I would accept, the clip stuck out a little bit further than the bend in the arm, most would probably accept this but I would prefer to either stick with thandard or pay the extr for genuine arms and blades.

I just use window polish when I wash the car, works a treat, no rear wiper jumping everywhere, no front wipers smearing the screen, and it cost 4.99 from Halfords!!

Have to say that I bought a set of the Valeo ones and everyone else who bought them say they are great, I must be picky as the drivers one lifted at 60-70mph leaving smears of water from the passenger wiper on the down swipe, so put a new set of standard VAG blades on and they wipe 100%.

I have after reading this last night put the drivers Valeo Aero blade back on in case they need to bed in or something stupid, it is wiping OK at the moment but is still leaving smears on the down swipe and that was only clearing spray on the M Way at 70mph this morning :(

Will see how it goes but I am not willing to try the complete mk4 upgrade at £60 if they are going to be the same as the Valeo ones (as the blades are the same after all) when I got the Vag blades for £6.99 http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/SEAT-LEON-WIP...392503QQihZ001QQcategoryZ100918QQcmdZViewItem
and they work spot on.

That's what I don't understand.... I have a decent set of Bosch wipers with a nice spoiler on the front of them (standard fit) and they wipe 100% all the time, don't judder and don't smear. So I'm trying to justify the cost of the Aero ones and I'm struggling.
