Cupra TDI sounds good!!!

I have had my cupra a week now and is it me or does the cupra tdi sound really good after 3.5K revs. I really like the sound. I noticed it more after fitting green filter. However the turbo sounds no where near as loud as on my leon???

On my FR, I can hear the turbo a lot louder when I first start the car up and for the next 5 mins until the engine warms. ANyone else find this.

So does the green panel filter make much difference in sound. Im getting the PD160 airbox and a green filter in mine soon!!

Get a hybrid turbo on it matey will make your leon sound like it was farting

Love my non resonated milltek turbo back exhaust. Sounds awesome. Always hoped it didn't sound to boy racer, but most on my mates and the gf say it has a more deeper/tuned note. Not like a drain pipe stuck on the back. Also it look OEM ish.

But im sure its the turbo cos it goes in time with the revs, ie. louder and quieter when rev'd

Pumps more air into the airbox, when it first start the car. Car idles at around 1.1k for about 1-2 mins the settles down to around 900, then secondary air pump shuts off.

Could well be, didnt realise these cars had those. What happens when people fit induction kits then, do there pumps just blow air around the bonnet?

Little breather fillter attaches to the top of the air pipe. As mine has fallen off I now have a VAG fault.
