It works in theory but the only way its going to save you 28% in fuel costs is if you have a hole in your fuel tank that you could bung up with this thing.
You've got to figure that, if they worked, manufacturers would be fitting them to cars to make the fuel economy figures look better.
Also, just how aligned are all the little molecules going to be once you've shot them out of an injector, mixed them with some air and set fire to them?

I hate to say it but my boss has been suckered by this sort of junk. He wants to try and fit to something a little larger than a 180bhp car engine though. Best bit is the company who maybe supplying the bits charge as a percentage of the projected saving.

We had a guy round at work years ago trying to sell us a much larger version of this for our powder-coating ovens. He gave us a highly scientific demonstration based on the use of a disposable lighter...
you don't go and buy a nice sporty, and semi-powerful car, and then expect or try to improve the mpg - otherwise you'd go and get a diesel.

If it goes to plan we're going to fit it to an RB211. I'm serious. They have offered a unit for free trial for 3 months.
You have got to be kidding. You're talking about a Rolls Royce RB-211 jet engine right? RR or the CAA might have something to say about that.
cheers chaps, was just curious as i was bored whilst taking a look on ebay. Wouldn't dream of fitting it, especially cos its only the price of a few beers, how could it possibly do my car any good. Advice taken on board and understood. Over.
Actually, as it only costs the price of a few beers, I'd say try it - if it doesn't make any difference then you've not exactly spent a fortune finding out and I can't see how it could do any damage (unless it was right next to the ECU).
It's ok, it's for power not flight so no issues and they are well out of RR waranty.
