Exhaust Dilema! Can't decide!

Hi all,

I need to replace the rear silencer and I have a dilema! Do I.....

a) Buy a Genuine SEAT/Bosal silencer from the dealer @ £103
b) Buy a replacement Bosal silencer from a motor factor @ £63
c) Replace with a 20VT Rear Silencer (Pic below)

I'am all about keeping things refreshingly standard and ideally would like to get the standard rear silencer from the SEAT dealer but the cost is an issue!.

The bosal item from the factors is cheaper but has an anoying, rough quality, smaller diameter tail pipe. Will this effect the sound?

With the 20VT Silencer there are the not unsolvable issues regarding mating to the existing exhaust, but what worries me most is that it won't suit what is a very standard car! (look to boy speedy, non-standard). I've done some measurements and intended to hang it below the rear vallance without cutting the plastic!
I do like the look of it though and as much as I fight it do have an urge to have two polished tail pipes!

Your opinions would be appreciated!

Cheers

DC

You can hardly call the 20VT Exhaust boy speedy when you have a yellow cupra :p ( my previous mk2 16v cupra sport was the same colour.:))

But yeh id go for the 20vt cat back option, supposed to give a better sound too, Id personally cut the valance makes it look alot neater!
