Brake pads on LCR are supposed to be 80% worn. Ive done discs and pads on cars before so am going to do them myself. So I assume if I get them from Seat - I will get Brembo pads and pay around £100ish?

Ive read various things on here from the search about alternatives but then Ive equally read stories about scoring etc etc.

So if I want to keep it simple and stay standard..is there anywhere else I can go for the pads at a cheaper price or do I just go to stealer?

£93 + £16.28 VAT + £9.50 P&P comes to £118.78

Thank you. Does anyone know how much the brembo's are aprx? or if there is anywhere else I can get them cheaper as a comparison for the ferrodo's?

also there is a great guide by rudd on the main site for changing pads / disks:

http://www.seatcupra.net//knowledge...placing_pads_and_discs_on_a_leon_cupra_r.html

think brembo front pads are about £115 + vat

Thanks - I guess the stealer the only place to get the brembo's?

Ive checked out that guide and having done lots of work on my mk3 8v golf gti before Im pretty confident doing the pads but that guide is superb in the absence of a haynes manual and will save me 'breaking' anything and learning the hard way...
