Do u need a key transponder?

I've managed to source the transponder for the MK1 Leon.So if there's any of u out there who managed to break their's ,there is a solution.The transponder is a virgin 48 glass transponder.I've ordered 10,so if u need one contact me.

Not sure what the hell a 48 crypto glass transponder is but if that's a two button key fob for a 03 52 plate LCR i deffinately will buy one from you.

Received my Transponder thanks Dee..

I can confirm, they work a treat in 2002 Toledo's, which probably means Leon's to..

Had a heart stopping moment coding it to the car though, as didn't work first time, but it did on second attempt!!
At one point, the immobiliser wouldn't recognise either key, the light just sat there flashing !

Once I repeated the whole procedure (zero'd again and re-added), the keys were recognised straight away, so now sorted !

I had visions of having to tow it to the dealers in the morning...

I did read somewhere that someone else had a similar experience ?

Anyway, all done, now the proud owner of a flip key, and my old original key now stashed as a spare..

Nice feeling now having two keys for my motor again

hides in your key and sends a code to the immobiliser to enable it to let the engine start.

Crypto 48 transponders can only be programmed to one instrument cluster (assuming it's an IMMO3 system)
They can be subsequently reprogrammed back to the same one, but not to another one.

i bought a second hand key so need to get a new one
