Cheers for the comments!! I am very pleased with it!

I have been using mostly Megs products - but for the future I plan to take things up a level!

Hey,

I am now a proud owner of an Ibiza 1.9TDi SXE, I will be collecting it Thursday; I can't wait!!! :funk:. I'd say this is a bit of an upgrade from a Ford Mondeo 2.0litre petrol :D

I fell in love with it the moment I saw it, and I didn't wanna stop driving it. Couldn't believe how clean/tidy it was for a 9 year old car, with only 79k miles on the clock. Absolute bargain!

Heres some piccys :D

I've been trying to find the engine specs, but without much luck. Can anyone tell me the bhp of the engine, being a 1.9TDi. I think it's 90bhp; can anyone confirm this?

Well with 58mpg instead of 30mpg I'm happy

Not sure I'd swap my 30mpg ear to ear grinning 16v for the TDI for a sake of better MPG :D But then again can't say it hasn't crossed my mind before.

What wheels have you got on it, as I have seen a quite a few of them with the white multispokes on

Well after spending around £400 a month in fuel to get to work, I think it was time for a change. Its the compromise isn't it, status/economy.

It doesn't have the white multispokes (possably taken off before). I had a quick look under the arches; which were spotless, but I think shes wearing hubs at the moment, with pretty much brand new tyres.

Once I get the car home, I can have a proper look round and start 'customising'. :D First thing as always is ICE :funk: ;)

It might be my eyes but does that Tdi have a 16v spoiler on it? Or was that standard on the diesel models as well? Or possibly its been added?

Not sure if its standard or not but definitely is the 16v spoiler. It also has the GTI front splitter as standard.

That's fair enough. £400 worth of miles a month, that works out over 520 miles a week :-o

Anyway, I must stop talking off topic and keep this a PHOTO thread :p

Thats a very tidy TDi!!!! I was making the same decision six months ago, diesel economy or petrol power. Petrol won the second i turned the key and it roared to life

But i do drive a 90bhp Golf TDi quite regularly and the economy is simply staggering after the 2.0litre petrol, and for what it is its a very competent car :)

Yep, that works out about right. Near as dammit 80-90 miles a day. So I'm expecting the diesel to make a considerable dent in my fuel bill :)

Well, I think the TDi does have quite a kick to it. Was great to drive and very responsive. A very big engine for a small car. It should do me well :D

Never know, with the money I might be saving... I might get myself a 'Weekend Car' ;)

Just a small question ... Since I don't actually have the car yet, I can't find out for myself. How many speakers are in the car, as standard. Is there only the two in the front doors, or is there a pair in the back? (I had the stereo off while test driving)

Speakerwise, Two tweeters in the dash, Two speakers in the doors and two 6x4's in the rear parcel shelf mounts. Not all cars came with the rears as standard but the wiring will be there ready.

Sweet, back to the ol' 6x4's again

I can't wait to get my grubby mitts on my new motor. I've never been this excited about a new car   :wtf:

:) oO(I wonder if I'll get my 15" vented sub in the boot??)

I was looking around yesterday for the specs and bhp; and I found this: clicky. If you look on the engine table at the bottom of the page you have the 1.9 SDI [47kW] and the 1.9 GT TDi [81kW]; maybe that would answer your 16v trim query??

Being new to the Seat/Ibiza scene I can only assume; you guys would know more than me :) The more I look into it, the more I feel I've got a b***dy bargain. :D

Looks nice, are your plans just to put on some facelift bumpers?

Have you checked in the spare wheel well?

If not I think you can get the paint code from a seat dealership by matching up your chassis number. Could be wrong tho

Thanks for displaying pic "surcalation" ;) Don't know how to do it yet lol - in regards to the car plans, i don't think the car will be like this for much longer lol i can't leave any car standard for very long ;) if u kno wa i mean, i'll check with my local stealership to see if they can help me out with the paint code lol

ps: checked spare wheel well and no sticker there - and while i was @ it checked the washeer pipe to make sure it's still attached to the rear washer ;)
