Had a misfire on the way back from town, warning light came on and I thought it might just be a bit a moisture from all the snow we've had. Today started the car and permanent misfiring so checked the coilpacks and :wtf:

speaking of coil packs, has anyone else got a x reg and had any troubles with their coil packs?

as i havnt had any problems - touching wood

someone told me the older ones they put on were more reliable

Rumour on the mill is Beru bolted ones are more realiable, push ones are better but not as strong? IF that makes sense?

Thats a messy split though Marmalizer! Good luck with the new one!

Just got in from work and the replacement Beru one I ordered is a bolt on one.

Is there a kit or something for bolting these on with all the stuff that goes on top the old ones? or is it just o.k. leaving as is.

Just glad that my cars running again only gonna take 30mins to get to work and not an hour. :)

Just got in from work and checked the new square coil pack and it seems to have moved quite a bit so i guess you do have to bolt them down.
