Good news: ordered the above in red with the 18 inch wheels. There may be one available to pinch in the country so could have it in March, will know more this week.

It was a toss up between the Stylance with the sports pack or the FR, had to go for the FR obviously!!

Bad news: will have to sell my much loved MK3 Ibiza Cupra.

I want my car now!!!

Been trying to find some nice pics of the Leon but most of SEATs official pics are of it in yellow sadly. I did really fancy a yellow one, but the Cupra is yellow so thought I should have a change!!

Good for you at leat you wont have to wait to long for your new edition...Got to wait till June for our Cupra tho the upside of that is get to keep our 05 FR TDi for a little bit longer as we're rather attached to the 'banana car'

I know, thought I would be looking at a May delivery so was really surprised.

Will be gutted to sell the Cupra though as like you, I'm somewhat attached to my lovely yellow car!

Hope you enjoy your Cupra when it arrives, I'm sure you will!

I know I will shed a tear when Daff goes, love the girl to bits.

I was tempted by yellow I must admit, but I had also set my heart on a red one too. I guess I just fancied a change. Maybe I just felt it was direspectful to my little Cupra to replace her with another yellow car!!

Na its more like a tribute!!

Tho when we found out Seat where doing the Cupra in Candy White we did have a moment where we nearly change the order from yellow to white but in the end stuck to our original order.....

Got the reference sport special edition in red too but dont think we'll be that sad to she her go she's a bit gutless (she looks fantastic but the engine doesnt life up to the image) not compared to our FR or nezbie as we call her...

My Cupra is called Daff 'cos she is as yellow as a daffodil!!

My new car will be called Oro as that is the last three letters on the reg!

My car wasn't the only new buy yesterday, my husband bought a 1.2 Ibiza Reference Sport in red as well! His car will be called Oso!!

My origianl intentions were to maybe go with the Refernce Sport, but you know, one thing leads to another!!

I asked last week about availability, the answer from the dealer was "yeah there's loads you can have one in around 10 days if you want."

unfortunately, if i go for xenons then its 12 - 15 weeks. :(

What are they thinkin when ordering ANY without xenons. Should they not be like standard someday in the future?

Exactly, i'm now torn between one on the 1st march (i.e. 07 plate) and waiting till may for one with xenons.

Seat i'm sure know they would sell them if they produced some for stock, why they dont i have no idea.

I know what you mean about the xenons.

Apparently there are seven instantly available with bluetooth and 18s all in red.

Makes you ask really why they bothered with the 17s as most people seem to be ordering the 18s plus if you look at the pics on SEAT.com in the images section, the yellow FR has the 18s on it.

I wanted a USB connection, but I can live without it, don't want to wait until May for just that.

Like the NZO plate by the way - is your car red?!?!

I can aonly assume they wanted the Cupra to look different to the FR, and they chose to do this partly by putting 17s on the FR. But, as you say, that's back fired a bit.

After all, an FR is basically a car which you might choose over a Golf GTI for example - IMO, it's not a car in the bracket below in terms of spec - therefore, people expect 18s. .
