gti 16v CS losing water

hi,

does anyones mk2 lose water over a few days. im finding that after filling the top bottle within 3-4 days my heaters are playing up due to low water level.

Is there a common cause for this or am i going to have to get down and dirty under her skirts? ; )

it'll be the rad leaking from the end caps....

yeah, fill something with water for 6yrs, it'll rust

they've been filling me with it for 23 years and i'm not in too bad a shape.

We'll be the judge of that!!

Usually goes on the bottom outlet, make sure you put antifreeze in as well mind

Also might be the radiator pipe as well. Have a look at that to.
