nah!!

although there was much discussion about lowering an ibiza 60mm on 17", and the general result was "you will get trouble with the arches"

i decided to do it anyway :D

my verdict - Awsome!
Cars verdict - not so good

front inner archers needed a little persuation, and the backs werent having it at all.

fronts seem to be ok day to day and how i drive it, but if "chucking" it around a bit in the corners, it scrums on the inner edge. the rears are luckily adjustable, so they had to go up to 50mm....all ok on the back!

not sure what to do with the fronts. as said, its ok day to day and is driveable. however if i do chuck it in to a corner it scrubs. iam thinking a lower anti-roll bar to stiffen the body role, as lock to lock stearing isnt a problem at all?

thoughts?

Do a search there's a load of people that lower them wiv coilovers. Take the front wheels off and where you see the tyre as been rubbing on the plastic cut it out.

Mine rubbed like crazy on every bend and corner, after a day or two it wasnt so bad, cut a bit of the plastic inner arch all is fine unless I hit a small bump when cornering fast :)

And the old saying, if it's not rubbing, it's not low enough [B)]

iam on 205 tyres

and ive cut all the plastic away, its rubbing on the chassis work that seperates the wheel arch from my engine bay!? giving the impression the wheels are too wide. think iam running the standard 38 offset?
