collected my new Ibiza DAB today

Title says it all really!
I'm now the very happy owner of a 1.9 TDI Ibiza DAB. My first ever SEAT and it's fab, so much fun to drive - like a little red rollerskate! Been for a long drive this afternoon (town and dual carriageway) and getting average of 51mpg - I can live with that!

Read lots of useful info on here before buying, no doubt I'll be back for more now I'm an owner too.

Would recommed the dealer (Seat Leicester) - excellent attitude/communication, good price,and swift delivery - no complaints at all. Two bottles of wine in the boot of the car was a nice touch too.

It's the diesel version and yes, it's the 1.9 tdi 100hp - goes VERY well!

Do the doors auto lock/unlock?

I have an Ibiza SX just now and the doors there auto lock/unlock, I have ordered a DAB but the new brochures dont mention anything about this feature anymore

Hope they havent taken it away cause its a great feature

But why is it then that in the latest Ibiza brochure the FR and cupra pages speck says that it has auto lock/unlock, but all the other models it doesnt mention this?

i am unsure of that but there was a case where somone was jumped at a set of lights and the anti hijack was fitted and not turned on at the pdi so the manufacturer got sued since then it has to be switched on at every pdi unless the customer requests otherwise and signs a waiver

Basically they turn it on or off for certain models. Very easy to switch it on via engine diagnostic software.
