Error codes on my Cupra

When i arrived at work this morning my engine management light on my Cupra came on.

Can anyone point me in the direction of a guide or tell me how to:

1. scan for faults on VAG-COM so i can see what the problem is.

2. clear my ECU of the error codes.

This'll be my first time using VAG-COM and it seems a little daunting but nevertheless i would like to learn the basics and know how to use it.

From memory, connect the car, and read engine readiness. IIRC

open vagcom
go to engine
click fault codes

- ilf you want to clear them click clear

or

click on autoscan to scan absolutly everything

Ok after hooking my car up to VAg-COM this afternoon my car is spitting out the following codes at me

16795 P0411 Secondary Air Injection System: Incorrect Flow Detected

17536 P1128 Long Term Fuel Trim mult.,Bank1 System too Lean

any ideas what could be causing this, or areas i could check to see everything is ok.

Is there anything i can do on VAG-COM to check what state my car is running at?

that code was the same as my maf fault..

How did you rectify it? Did you clean your MAF or get a replacement?

yeah cleaned it firstly and it worked for another week or so.......then it gave up the ghost so i bought a new one.

Well i'm going to try and do a VAG-COM log somehow and post the results up. Do you know how to do one by any chance?

Can anyone point a VAG-COM newbie in the direction of a guide on how to do a MAF log?

Measuring Block 3 - Mine was reading about 130 G/S @5720 revs and consider that to be fine - my car is chipped to about 180ish BHP -

hope thats some sort of guideline.
