Centre consol modification for ibiza 2000

Dont think it will add any bhp to be honest most exhausts dont any way...maybe a couple, you will notice a differance in the tone.. ive got a miltek on mine and there not cheap and didnt notice any differance when i had that fitted! sounds good tho! 
Maybe you should look on the superchips site i think they maybe able to add 8/10bhp? you could modify your airbox and put a bigger cold air feed in with a uprated filter that will make it feel more responsive... to be honest theres not alot you can do to make a 1.4 faster without spending £££`s on a turbo or such like....

thanks for honest response. I was thinking about a super charger of ebay there about £120 or another super charger called e-ram
it does make sence but its to much hassle with insurance and say i was to crash i would have to take the engine out lol
Im not to hot on the supercharger front, but im sure the insurance would go threw the roof.... if you do intend on making it faster eg SC or turbo remember its got to stop as quickly as it go`s.... so maybe i could interest you in a 280mm cupra set up... if it fits? (sombody answer for me ) you would help a needy person on his route to a Brembo conversion!

i want trip computer fitted aswell as i dont have the switch on the stalk?? im wondering if vag could change current screen to the trip 1 to see if it will work if so would rather that screen then current
Hello mate, I'm also in Oxford, so that's two Red Mk3 Ibiza Cupras to keep a look out for now.
I've read your above posts and have one piece of advice... get the radio conversion done, but stop messing with the 1.4 power mods and get a Cupra. If you think the insurance would be too much, then shop around and bide your time driving carefully, build up the no-claims and it won't take long.
Take one of us up on the offer of a re-map'd trip around the ring road, and you'll see what I'm saying.
Ditto that! just been out in mine just to make sure it was boosting ok since i changed the vac hose`s, and well ive had the car remapped over a month now and im still grinning like a kid with a king size yorkie! if you ever want a trip around the ring road give me a shout mate im only in headington. no bother in showing you what it can do

quick question if you have vag cable is it able to remap a car with cable i have seen a cd on ebay which claims to have all the remaped files????
If you want your car to go faster then strip the interior, it will cost nothing.

I wouldnt try it mate, to risky could easily fook your ecu up, get sombody that knows what they are doing to do it.
Just had a look on the superchips site and it appears that they dont do any hardware/software for the 1.4 ibiza

I own a 1.4, its not fast enough, so i'm building up my no claims (and my age! being 20 sucks for insurance.) then i'll get a faster car
you wont be able to do anything with a 1.4 to make it go any faster.
Stay away from e-bay, lots of cheap nasty stuff on there that wont do your car any good and probably wont work. i Mean a 15p resistor that you bought for £15 is not going to add 30bhp!- no suprise there
As for the radio conversion i'd pay £70 to get mine done if i lived closer thats the one thing i dislike about ibiza's why they made it soo hard to change the head unit i have no idea, guess they didnt think people would change them :?
