so my indicators start going double speed, super bulb down, so i check it out, appears to be the bulb holder on the front right indicator, the springy contact at the bottom so using a screw driver i pry it up a little, sound all working, slam the bonnet and arm the alarm, the front left indicator fails to light up... so i do the same and all is well...

around 2 hours later i head to the chippy for nutrion and kebab, my front right dipped beam has gone :( so in the dark i open the hood for an inspection, pull the piece of plastic out the way that sits at the back of the bulb holder, and find theres another plastic cover over the bulbs, being dark and not much room infront of the airbox i think bollox to it and slam the hood... driving home i now have no front right dipped beam or indicator lol damn it :(

and thats about the most exciting thing thats happend to me lol this week

its the spring on the bottom of the bulb holders for the front indicators, a small screwdriver and bending it back up has done the trick.. as for the dipped beam, it was the bulb replaced it today after work.

had a spare bulb from my old mk2 golf days. :) all bulbs fully operational agiain the end

i think the story goes, the main beam bulb was fitted incorrectly thus melting the bulb holder, the fitter of the bulb couldnt be arsed to fit the plastic cover and the engine bay caught fire, thus rending the ibiza usless, so the owner bought an integrale with the compo he claimed of Seat and he lived happily ever after :)
