I suppose you could use some Di-Electric Grease or Spray (WD-40 or similar) as there could be some water sneaked in there. Its a water displacer. Try giving it a spray with that and re-seating the electrical connections if possible.

thanks again for the advice. if there is anything new on this i ll leave a post. re-seating electical connections??? there is nothing i have access to in the lock except for some metal part inside covered in black wax...
would need to remove the catch to probably get to the sensor to clean and realign and check over. gotta take the door apart to get to it dont take long tho and could save you some euros
The problem with my '03 TDi 130 is that the autolock has stopped working on the driver's door. It locks when I get to 10mph and instantly unlocks again; the passenger door stays locked. It has been doing this intermittently for a while, but now it seems to be permanent.
