i think it sounds sweet!!!! Im getting a quite load chatter, completely different to my 007.

Just hijack this thread. Its true about the Chatter noise. I fitted mine last night. It sounds very chattery but I think it might be more of an echo where it is a split valve.

It whoshes like the 007p but louder with an echo/chatter effect.

Sorry guys, I cant host a video because I have lost my USB connection to transfer it

Apologies to refering back to the GFB hybrid valve again, but regarding the chatter... The GFB valve also did this when letting off at lower/mid-range revs. Letting off higher up the range on full boost (standard 7/8psi) gave a nice clean whoosh which GFB said is how it should be. It could just be a characteristic of the valve.

I was gonna ask you if your old valve did this. It seems as tho the chatter is nothing to worry about. Mine is exactly the same through mid range revs & when driven hard you get a clean whoosh.

A lot louder than my old valve but still not as loud as a proper atmos. This is a good thing tho.

if it is chatter, that is something to worry about imo, not good for the life of your turbo, lasts months instead of years .......

anyone got any sound clips yet? im on the edge of my seat here, wanna hear what its like

But surely if the chatter was a sign of problems I would of had chatter on the forge 007p valve?

Ive checked all the connections & is fine, Followed all the instructions properly. The car drives fine as well. Another guy on here fitted the same valve & has 'chatter'.

Im not even sure if it is chatter but thats the only word I can use to describe it. Like an Echo/Chatter sound.

Its not like what you hear on some cars that chatter, it sounds like a louder version of the original 007p valve with some echo

because your 007 worked fine probably, if its a echo, probably the valve, if its a chatter , i stand by my word and say its not good, could just be a weak spring etc dont really know much about the valve tbh, apart from what i read on here

if its just a loud 007p with a echo then it will be fine

If the turbo was stalling, surely your gonna get massive lag between gear changes? I dont get any more lag than when i had the 007 fitted. I still think its the noise from recirculating first and then the noise from the blow off with probably a bit of echo to add to that........only quick

Ive noticed no difference in performance since changing the valve. I doubt its anything to worry about. I will double check over everything tommorow when its light to be sure its on right.

Im 99% sure the valve just sounds like that rather than turbo stall because it still spools up the same...

no performance drop for me either.....I actually like the sound. Im gonna try and get a sound/video clip for everyone tommorrow.:)
