Well here I am back in the SEAT fold again after almost three years Audi A2 Ownership. With two boys aged 5 and 2 it was time to get something a little bigger and the Altea fitted the bill.
Owned a 1999 Toledo 1.8 20v S before the Audi.
Got a 2006, 2007 model spec. 1.9 TDI Reference Sport in Black, Sports Seats, MP3 player plug-in, sliding rear seat, 8 speakers via radio/CD. Only thing I have missed so far is the BOSE sound system c/w CD Autochanger and the electric mirrors, but once set manually, they shouldn't need adjusting again.
Picked it up yesterday. So far so good, love the seats nice and supporting, and the ride is a little more forgiving after the A2 Sport settings with 40 series rubber. I have had Mud flaps and mats added and will be adding some other accessories very soon when the weather and time allow.
I hope to get similar MPG as the A2, but obviously going to cost more to fill her up.
My wife and Kids love it, so heres to many happy miles in the new SEAT ALTEA.
