I needed some other wheels to roll around on so bought some S3 alloys without tyres.

Vrs wheels being re-furbed a slightly darker grey, maybe metallic but not sure yet...

Maybe, i've bought a new FR rear bumper which is going on soon, not sure about the front yet, possibly smoothed old one or new Fr but smoothed number plate recess.

yea i would of liked to smooth the recess out of mine, i also considered smoothed the sides & bumpers until a guy over here smoothed his bumpers and removed his rub the side's, it looked poo poo in my opinion (and im a fan of all things smoothed). I was looking for a picture to show you but cant find one.

Blue one owned by andygdon, was on leon rims? I think.
Totally smoothed with sideskirts?
I wasn't too keen on side-mouldings smoothed, the doors are too tall IMO.

I think i'll pass on sideskirts and not bother smoothing side mouldings!
It's nice but not to my taste, front would look smart with small number plate on the honeycomb grills, with number plate recess smoothed.

i like that think the smoothed look does depend on colour of car though mine has no side trims on at the moment and i quite like it other than the holes etc

Thanks for those pics Max! Andy is the only person I've known of to smooth all the strips out and all i had were a couple of very poor pics.

I do think it's nice, though tbh the skirts and splitter aren't really to my personal taste, and I'd have smoothed the side reps aswell!

Ad, I reckon you don't need to smooth the strips, that one on cleaned.be gets away without it and if anything they add a bit of contrast. If it were me and I actually had the money I'd do the plate recess's, extend the bonnet slightly in the middle, and smooth the side reps :)
