Put a post on here a couple of days ago about which exhaust cat-back system to go for. I had alot of feed back saying from everyone who had a milltek system saying that that was the one to go for but ive had people say that they dont sound that meaty.

Not to sure weather to go for the oval or the twin. Supersprint being the oval and Milltek being the twin.

Dont like the look of the scorpian as much because it dont seem to fit the cutout in the bumpers as well. well the single pipe anyway.

I just want it to sound meaty and hopefully abit of a power gain.

Cheers cuprapower. I like the look of the oval the best so i was waiting for some good feedback on a supersprint.

Also any ideas what air filter to go for as well ?

I have a Miltek cat back on mine at the moment, isnt that loud when going slow or on the motorway but when you hit the loud pedel its got a nice deep note, also get the pops and burrrrrbling when letting off the gas...

As for the fitment of the Miltek, Errrrr thats a differant story it doesnt sit central and bangs like F**k when turning right, had it back in the garage and they centred it up but sounds like its vibrating off of somthing when turning right

Ive being toying with the idea of a new cat back system for ages, Ive finally been pushed into it as my standard exhaust has just snapped! (1 week prior to MOT!)

For a new standard exhaust ive been quoted £256, so my thoughts are to go for a supersprint. I really like the look of the supersprint oval, but when looking at their website there is a race system which looks to be stainless and a street system which doesnt. Which system have you guys had experience with?? Is it the street system that most people are going for? (Sorry if this sounds like a stupid question)

ive got a scorpion exhaust and its quite loud tbh, very deep and burbly. probably be great for you if your after a meaty sound. ive got the twin slash cut, it fits the hole nicely altho mine isnt perfectly straight.

i,ve just fitted a milltek cat-back and i love it.

no chaved up loud noises just a nice grunty noise as you floor it, and when it gets up to temp it starts popping which is kool.

love the look of standard style one but slightly bigger

can get some nocking with these when lowered but i hav'nt experienced alot.

overall top notch zorst!!!!!:)

I agree, I have the same exhaust on mine and compared to miltek ones its much louder, especially when you floor it.

Dont know what the other makes sound like tho

I'll back up the Supersprint. I've got one, and like Mark said, it lines up brilliant and fills the bumper very nicely.

It also sounds meaty when booting it, but not ott when you're just taking it easy. When mine's hot it'll happily pop between gear changes which is quite nice as well :D

How well does the millek fit then? Thinking of getting one for mine but was wandereing what its like as regards rattling etc or whether to just get a garage to fit it.

Its not bad, i got a garage to fit mine for £25, i had to take it back cos of some vibrations, so they adjusted it and made it worse[:@], just by undoing the clamp that connects to the centre pipe i was able to twist it about and stop the vibrating, its not perfectly centrel but its not bad! ill try and get some pics up and show you tomoz, But with yours being lowerd 40mm you might have problems with it knocking on the rear beam.

if it rattles on the rear beam they wont be able to do nothing for free

milltek is the best iv owned and best iv seen imo. its got a great note and is well made. mine only knocks because i lowered the car. when its just me in the car its fine but when people get in the back or i stick the shopping in the boot. its gets abit noisey but its in no way related to the quality of the build, just perhaps design considerations
