Easy job.....

Take the bumper off and turn it upside down. After trimming the two long location spigots (used on Leon) off the splitter, lay it on the bumper where you want it. Now secure it with G-clamps.

Now start in the middle at the front and drill a hole throgh the splitter & bumper, secure splitter to bumper with a nut (nylock) and bolt. Now work your way out doing the same, positioning and tweaking the position of the spiltter as you go.

When fitted you will see that the splitter is about 40mm too long each side in sticks out into the wheel arches. Trim it down with a sharp hacksaw. Refit bumper. Job done.

...or you can just leave the bumber on and jack the car up and do the work on your back. its as simple as trim and screw.

I think mine is offcentre by a few mm but it was only a 10 min job.

The splitter is about £19 from any Seat dealership.

I tie wrapped mine into position, then drilled holes all long but evenly spaced. Used 10mm Nuts and Bolts to secure. Your then left with an excess bit at either end, i cut mine down. To neatly finish it, i used a fine sandpaper to smooth off.

Obviously you don't have to take the bumper off but with it off you can stand above it and gauge the position of the of the splitter alot more acuratly than you can with your eyes about 1mm away from it and your head squashed under the car.. Making the whole job more acurate and neater. Your only going to fit it to this car once right? If its worth doing, its worth doing properly IMO. :p
