I have a set of OZ GT Supertourismo 205/45/16 ZR, 5 stud pattern, ET 35 from an Ibiza TDi 100 Sport.

When the tyres are changed to 205/50/16 ZR will they fit my son in laws LEON 20VT without any fitting, offset or size issues???

He currently as 205/55/15 on his 02 Plate Leon 20VT Cupra.

Many thanks in anticipation.

Yeah, shouldn't have any trouble with this at all

If you want something to worry about, I'd suggest comparing one of your wheel studs with one of his (cos sometimes the chamfer/radius under the bolt head is a different shape to suit the alloy) but if they're the same you'll be fine

I have a set of Studs with the wheels so no issues there. But, I am in Wales and he will be coming down from Scottishland on his holidays.

Anyone help here? Is the PCDand offset the same on the new Ibiza and Mk1 Leon if so then they should fit as I will have produced the same rolling circumference by changing the tyres. Yes - No?

Another thing to check would be the clearence from the brake caliipers but if their not Brembo's as on the R then they should fit ok. Circumference is gonna be about right, they seem a bit thin however as I have 225 s as standard on my mk 1 Leon!?

His is an 02 Plate and he currently on the not to nice Multi spokes that are a pain to clean. He currently as 205/55/15's on it and they are very ropey.

Hence the wheel and tyre swap from Dad In Law. When kids leave home they get cheaper..................................NOT!!!

Sorry, yeah that's what I meant -

the PCD is 5 on a 100mm pitch for both
offset is ET35
hub centre bore is 57mm and difference in rolling diameter is 1.905 vs 1.920m

nothing to worry about ;)
