New cupra wing mirrors

Hi,
anyone knows the color of new cupra wing mirror. I would like to paint mine in that color(I drive a FR one). Is it standard black, like black leon or something else. Does anyone knows what color is it, number of the paint?

In the Car magazine review it says ebano black, but I don't know if that means anything to anyone.

on Eri's new cupra it looks gloss black to me.

They call it Ebano Black, but its a glossy look black. Not sure if its plastic or painted plastic if you get my drift.

I'll be seeing the Cupra close up for the first time tomorrow at Autosport, so i'll look closer and see.

I'll do my very best as always Depends how much access we get to the car.

But as i've ordered one, I don't think they'll mind me mooching around inside it.

Will take loads of pics, anything you want a particular close up of, I know myself and m0rk are interested in certain areas of the engine, close up inspection if you get my drift.

we dont get many shows up this way, but was going to go to this one but time of the year when funds are low.
but if you can get pics of the foot pedals/rest and the audio/centre console, any body kits if they are on it also.That would be good.Oh and the birds drapped about the place too(the female tidy kind)

I'll see what i can do. Don't expect it to have the aluminium footrest, as they don't allow the room for it on the RHD models.

VW designed a different one for the R32 RHD market. However SEAT didn't bother on the Mk1 Cupra R. I can't see them bothering on this one either. But i'll see, as long as the car they have at the show is RHD that is, it maybe a left hooker.

Im multi-posting this because no doubt someone won't see it in another thread, and because i can. so there

Unfortunately, the Cupra is the same one they used at the motorshow in July last year, still has Brembo's on it And a bit dissapointing for me at least, as it was a bit tatty looking, scratched paint mainly, unsurprising as its obviously seen its fair share of public.

But i know my own Cupra when it comes will be in better condition.

So don't be fooled boys and girls, this isn't the final UK spec.

Exact same car they debuted at the motorshow in July, so don't read too much into the condition of the wing mirrors, ccarpets etc, its seen its fair share of public interaction.

Also the spec will be different, this was generally regarded as the first run prototype for market.

Yes it is a bit darker, compared to a sport-up.





But why would someone paint the mirrors of an FR black? Wouldn't it reduce a FR to a wannabe Cupra..?

I see it isn't easy to find out the number of the color. I Croatia there is none Cupra sold and the dealer doesn't know color we are talking about. Is there any chance that someone could find the color number in UK from a dealer. It would help me a lot.
